IMMACULATA, Pa. - The Immaculata University men's volleyball team played its final home match of its inaugural season Wednesday night in Alumnae Hall, dropping a straight-sets decision to Ramapo in Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) action. Garrett Pepper logged a team-high four kills and Donte Ramos added ten assists in the effort.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Macs drew even with the Roadrunners at three points apiece in the early stages of the first set, but an 8-1 Ramapo run put the visitors out in front for good to take the opening set, 25-14.
-IU fell behind early in the second set but rallied for a 7-2 run in the late stages to get within two of Ramapo at 19-17 thanks to kills from Pepper, Matthew Lynn and Patrick Zeoli. Bryce Wiltbank registered a kill coming out of an Immaculata timeout before forcing several Ramapo errors - who were stuck on set point - to get within two at 24-22. However, the Macs could not complete the comeback and dropped the second set, 25-22.
-The Roadrunners jumped out to a ten-point lead early in the third set and continued to hold a commanding lead to take the final set, 25-11.
