CHESTERTOWN, Md. - The Immaculata University women's tennis team was unable to overcome an early deficit in the doubles matches despite singles victories from
Elizabeth Lipscomb and
Jessica Dougherty Friday afternoon at Washington, falling 7-2 to the Shorewomen in non-conference action.
DOUBLES RESULTS

Caleigh Masterman and
Morgan Jacob were defeated at first singles by an 8-1 decision.
-
Susan Callahan and
Caitlin Savage were unable to overcome an early deficit at second singles, falling 8-3.
-Lipscomb and Dougherty fell at the third position, 8-4.
SINGLES RESULTS
-Masterman won the first set at first singles, 7-5, but was taken down in the second set and the tiebreaker, 10-4.
-Savage dropped the first set at fourth singles and battled in the second set, but fell 7-5.
-Lipscomb continued her strong spring with a resounding 6-3, 6-3 victory at fifth singles.
-Dougherty was equally impressive at the sixth slot, posting a 6-1, 6-3 victory.
