HOW IT HAPPENED
-DeSales was on fire out of the games, scoring seven goals in the opening eight minutes to race out to a 5-0 lead
-The Mighty Macs settled down and scored three of the next five goals to close out the first half, and could have had many more if not for some big saves by the DeSales keeper
-Kennedy scored once and DiDonato twice while Cadden provided the helper on all three first half goals as the Macs trailed 7-3 at the break
-Looking to build off the late first half momentum, the Bulldogs quickly halted that by scoring the first three goals
-Cadden got on the board with an assist from Kennedy with 20 minutes to go, but the Bulldogs then scored three more again to put the deficit at 13-4
-The Macs would score four of the final seven goals, two by Murray, one by Kennedy, and one by freshman
Maddy Terry in the 16-8 defeat
