GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa.- The Immaculata University women's volleyball squad took to the road on Tuesday evening in search of a victory to keep its Atlantic East Tournament hopes alive entering the final days of the regular season. Despite battling throughout the match, Immaculata came up just short falling to Gwynedd Mercy by a final of 3-0.

How it Happened:

• In the first set, Immaculata battled throughout but it was a late run by Gwynedd Mercy that gave the Griffins the first set victory by a final of 25-20.
• The second and third sets were similar for the Macs as the team battled throughout and even held a lead during the third set but it was late runs from Gwynedd Mercy that proved to be the difference maker as the host Griffins earned a 25-22 second set victory before capturing the third set 25-23 to earn the three-set victory.

Inside the Box Score:

• Natalie Dependahl led the Macs in kills with 10 kills on the evening while Megan Daugherty ended the match with a match-high 33 assists in the setback.
• Isabelle Davis led the way in digs once again with 15 while Daugherty registered 14 and Dependahl came away with 11 digs of their own to register double-doubles. Sara Desmond also ended the match in double figures for digs as the junior registered 11 digs of her own in the setback.
