IMMACULATA, Pa. - The Immaculata University men's basketball team used ten different scorers and outscored visiting Valley Forge 41-20 in the second half to claim its fourth consecutive home victory, a 77-47 decision inside Alumnae Hall. After leading by nine at the half, the Mighty Macs opened the second half with 20-2 run to take complete control in the 30-point win.
Mike Piekarski led the Macs with a game-high 19 points, while
Brandon McCullough and
Jordan Ambrose followed with 13 apiece on the night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Macs led for all but the first 2:36 of Monday night's game, as McCullough and Piekarski converted on back-to-back possessions in the early going to give IU its first and only lead of the night. IU was able to stretch its lead out to double figures at 3:28 mark of the opening half when
Asa Kitchen buried a three to raise his point total to six heading into the break.
-Immaculata took total control of the game from the onset of the second half, ripping off a 20-2 run over the first 9:18 to extend the lead to 27. The Macs caused ten turnovers over that stretch, part of a 30-turnover night for the Patriots. The Macs would go on to outscore Valley Forge, 41-20, in the second half.
-Immaculata relied on its bench to finish off the victory for a majority of the second half, as
Josh Singleton poured in a season-best seven points and
Tim Moore matched his season-high in points to go along with a pair of steals and assists before the night was over.
