IMMACULATA, Pa.- After winning their first game of the season on Sunday, the Mighty Macs were hoping to make it two in a row as they hosted Muhlenberg, but the Mules (2-0) put one on the board in each half and defeated the Mighty Macs (1-2) by a score of 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The first half saw Muhlenberg control the possession, much of the way, but the Mighty Macs had a couple of chances
-Sophomore
Mikey Kalpokas made a couple stops on one play to keep Muhlenberg off the board early
-For the Macs, senior
Eric Case tried to settle a bouncing ball and his shot was blocked, and later senior
Alex Noel was served a header by junior
Connor Lindsay that he was unable to get a solid strike on as it went wide
-The Mules got the only tally of the half in the 28
th minute on a penalty kick that just escaped the reach of Kalpokas as he dove toward the post
-Kalpokas came up with one more big save late in the half to keep it at a one goal deficit heading to the locker room
-Noel had another chance with a header 15 minutes into the second half, but it sailed just over the crossbar as the Macs continued to trail
-The Mighty Macs attempted to force the pace and get the equalizer, but were unable to generate any close chances
-The Mules put the game away with an 82
nd minute goal
