HOW IT HAPPENED

-Six minutes later, the Mighty Macs tied it as Rudd served a corner into the box that went untouched and into the back of the net to tie the game
-The rest of the half, IU continued to apply pressure as they held a 10-3 advantage in shots, but the game remained tied
-In the second half, the Mighty Macs ramped up the pressure even further, as they logged all 16 shots in the second half, including several good chances off the feet of
Morgan McDonough,
Emily Gardyasz, and Rudd, but they were unable to score as the game went to overtime
-After two close calls in the opening minutes of the overtime, Rudd slipped a pass to Gardyasz at the top of the box and she found the back of the net on the right side to give the Macs the victory
