ASTON, Pa.- The Mighty Mac women's soccer team (4-9-1, 1-3-1) was locked in a tight battle at Neumann (7-7-1, 2-2-1) on Saturday afternoon, and the Knights came away with the 2-1 win with a double overtime victory.  Despite the loss, the Mighty Macs clinched a postseason spot in the Atlantic East Conference tournament.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Mighty Macs got the scoring started as junior Carly Quigley hit a free kick from 30 yards out and scored her third of the season to put the Macs up 1-0
-Neumann tied it with just over a minute to go before halftime as they tapped in a free kick to send it to the locker room at 1-1
-Each team had chances in the second half and the Macs had a great chance in overtime as sophomore Miranda Rojas got behind the keeper, but her slow dribbler trickled wide
-Neumann won it in the 105^th minute on a header off a corner to give IU their third one goal conference loss
 
TEAM COMPARISON
-The Knights held a 25-18 advantage in shots, 14-3 in shots on goal
-The Knights took nine corners to four for IU
