IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey team got a pair of goals from junior Colleen Bradley, but the attack of the Kean University Cougars was too much to over come in a 5-2 defeat.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Mighty Macs were the first to strike despite not producing many first half opportunities.  Bradley received a pass from sophomore Willa Thompson at the top of the circle, and she slipped one past the keeper for a 1-0 IU lead in the 13^th minute
-The IU defense held for much of the period until the Cougars scored in the 26^th minute and then again with just over two minute to go before half to make it 2-1 at the break
-Kean added to their lead in the 43^rd minute, but the Macs fought back as senior Jackie Wood found Bradley on the right wing, and she carried in and poked a shot through the goalie's five hole for her second of the game and a 3-2 game with just under 24 minutes remaining
-Freshman Macy Green made a great run with 13 minutes to go, but her shot sailed just wide to keep the Macs down a goal
-On the counter, the Cougars earned a corner and punched in another to make it 4-2, and they added one more in the 5-2 decision.

-Kean took 29 shots and the Mighty Macs took three
-The Cougars took 17 corners to two for the Mighty Macs
