SWARTHMORE, Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey team (2-1) suffered their first loss of the young season on Saturday afternoon as they dropped a 2-0 decision at Swarthmore (3-1).

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Swarthmore took the 1-0 lead in the 15
th minute on a goal by Kathleen Carmichael
-The Mighty Macs battled, developing a couple chances in the first half, but they mostly did work on the defensive end keeping the Garnet off the scoreboard
-It stayed a 1-0 game deep into the second half when Swarthmore added a key insurance goal from Sophie Peipher in the 62
nd minute and the Macs were unable to get onto the scoreboard
