LANGHORNE, Pa. – Immaculata volleyball won its second-straight match as the Mighty Macs swept Cairn, 3-0, on Saturday in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match. The Mighty Macs took the match with set scores of 25-9, 25-8 and 25-16.

Arden Vizzard (13 kills, 15 digs) and sophomore
Olivia Zdradzinski (32 assists, 11 digs) each recorded a double-double to lead Immaculata (4-6, 2-1 CSAC) in the match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-After Cairn (2-11, 1-3 CSAC) won the first point, Immaculata won seven-consecutive points, including four on kills by the Mighty Macs. The teams traded points as Immaculata held a 12-7 lead, and the Mighty Macs then went on a run starting with five-straight points to close out the first set, 25-9.
-Immaculata took control of the second set early with a 12-2 run that turned a 3-2 edge into a 15-4 advantage for the Mighty Macs. Immaculata had a six-point run that placed it in front, 22-6, and sealed the set at 25-8.
-The third set opened with the Mighty Macs winning the first three points. Despite the Highlanders closing to within three points at 11-8, Immaculata never gave up control thanks to a 9-3 run that gave the Mighty Macs a 20-11 advantage.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
-Kills: Vizzard led the team with 13 kills. Senior
Nicole Taylor amassed nine, and junior
Shelby Belk had eight kills. Seniors
Gabrielle Guerrera and
Rachael Rockefeller each added six kills.
-Hitting Percentage: Taylor had an .818 percentage for the match with no errors on 11 attacks to go along with her nine kills.
-Assists: Zdradzinski was the leader in assists with 32, and freshman
Lex Poss dished out nine.
-Digs: Freshman
Sara Desmond paced the Mighty Macs with 16 digs. Vizzard (15) and Zdradzinski (11) were the other IU players in double figures.
