SCRANTON, Pa. – Immaculata men's soccer scored in the 13th minute and managed to keep Marywood off the scoreboard the rest of the way to earn a 1-0 shutout in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Junior
Alex Noel headed the ball in from sophomore
Connor Lindsay's pass to score the lone goal of the contest in the 13th minute of play for the Mighty Macs (3-6-1, 1-1-0 CSAC). Â
-Marywood pressured the rest of the contest with seven shots during the first half, and 12 shots during the second half, but Immaculata was able to keep the clean sheet.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
-Marywood (3-5, 0-2 CSAC) held a 19-11 advantage in shots, and a slight 6-5 edge in corner kicks.
-Noel led the Mighty Macs with four shots, two on goal. Junior
Mark Staudenmayer had two shots, both on goal. Sophomore
Nick Boule and freshman
Alex Potter both got off two shots.
-Freshman goalkeeper
Mikey Kalpokas earned his second shutout of the year making seven saves.
