IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata men's soccer team (2-6-1, 0-1-0 CSAC) opened Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play on Wednesday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium against Cairn (7-3-0, 2-0-0 CSAC), and the Macs held a pair of one-goal leads in the first half, but the Highlanders would score the final three goals of the game in a 4-2 Mighty Mac loss.

Alex Noel scored his seventh goal of the season while sophomore
Ricky Molz had the first goal of his career in the loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sophomore
Chad Catalana fed a perfect pass from 25 yards out to Noel at the top of the box who took one touch and fired a shot past the keeper for the 1-0 lead in the fourth minute
-However, Cairn tied it just over three minutes later after a ball deflected off a defender and was put past freshman keeper

-Four minutes after that, freshman
Alex Potter served a ball perfectly into the box on a corner kick that Molz leapt into the air and headed into the back of the net to put the Macs back in front less than 11 minutes in
-The frenzied scoring pace came to a close in the 18
th minute as Cairn converted a free kick in the box to tie the game 2-2
-The score would hold there until the 57
th minute when a Cairn cross was scored to make it 3-2, and the Highlanders put the game away in the 83
rd minute with a goal
