BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – Immaculata University's (1-0) field hockey team scored three second-half goals to break a tie, and started the 2017 season with a 5-2 win on the road at Bryn Athyn (0-1) in non-conference action.

How it Happened
· Megan Donegan got the Mighty Macs on the scoreboard first in the 14th minute as she tipped in a pass from
Jackie Wood.
· Immaculata extended its lead to 2-0 in the 23rd minute as
Cayla Williams scored unassisted.
· Bryn Athyn came back to tie the game (2-2) in the 33rd minute as they had goals from Kyla Rogers and Payton Boler just three minutes apart.  Â
· Immaculata broke up the halftime tie early in the second half as
Layne Kennedy scored unassisted as she was able to push the ball into the cage in the 38th minute.
· Donegan added two more insurance goals for the Mighty Macs just three minutes apart in the 43rd and 46th minute.
Colleen Bradley assisted on Donegan's first goal, while she scored on a break-away to compete the hat trick.

· Goals: Donegan with a hat trick (3) to move into third all-time in goals in 24 for her career. Williams and Kennedy each with one goal.

Randie Kuhar, and neither goalkeeper registered a save. Kuhar earned her first win in goal, playing the majoring of the second half for the Mighty Macs.
