Mighty Macs Bounce Back With 9-0 Victory Over Keystone

LA PLUME, Pa.- The Immaculata men's tennis team (3-2, 3-1 CSAC) bounced back from their first Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) loss of the season as they went to Keystone on Sunday afternoon and defeated the Giants, 9-0.  The Macs lost just 10 games en route to the CSAC victory.
 
In doubles, senior Stephen Smith and sophomore Dom Ramsden won 8-2 at first doubles, senior John Binner and freshman Ryan McDowell won 8-2 at second doubles, and seniors Luke Santoni and Michael Griffin III cruised 8-1 at third doubles.
 
IU did not stop there as they polished off the CSAC victory.
 
Griffin III at third singles, McDowell at fourth, and Binner at fifth all won 6-0, 6-0.  Smith at first and Santoni at sixth each won 6-1, 6-0, and Ramsden won 6-0, 6-3 at second singles.
 
The Mighty Macs will travel to Eastern for a non-conference match on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
