IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University's volleyball team won its third-straight match on Monday night for its longest winning streak of the season as it defeated Centenary University, 3-0. The Mighty Macs took the match by scores of 25-2, 25-11, and 25-11.

Immaculata improved to 7-7 overall and 5-4 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC). Centenary fell to 1-13, 0-6 CSAC.

Immaculata produced a season-high 19 service aces as a team, and had its highest hitting percentage this season at .403. The Mighty Macs had 35 kills on 72 attacks and committed just six hitting errors.

Sophomore
Olivia Zdradzinski recorded her sixth double-double this season with 15 assists and 10 digs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Immaculata won the serve, and Zdradzinski was first in rotation for the Mighty Macs serving up 19 straight points. Zdradzinski had seven service aces during the opening run,
Gabrielle Guerrera and
Nicole Taylor each made three kills, and
Shelby Belk recorded two kills. Immaculata sealed the first set at 25-2 as Belk recorded the team's ninth service ace of the set.
- Centenary won the first two points of the second set, but it was Immaculata with a nine-point run that caused a Cyclones timeout. Centenary won the next two points to cut the score to 9-4, but Immaculata again went on a streak to push its lead to 15-4. After Centenary cut the margin to 10 (18-8), Immaculata outscored the Cyclones 7-3 win the set.

Lex Poss served up the first eight points of the third set for the Mighty Macs which included five aces. Guerrera,
Arden Vizzard and Poss also each had one kill to account for the 8-0 lead. After the Cyclones got the side out, the Mighty Macs again put together an eight-point run for a 16-1 advantage. With Immaculata lead, 21-4, Centenary won five-straight points to make it a 21-9 contest, but Immaculata closed the set on a 4-2 run for the match.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Kills:
Shelby Belk led the team with nine kills.
Gabrielle Guerrera recorded seven kills, while
Nicole Taylor,
Olivia Zdradzinski and
Arden Vizzard all had five kills to lead a balanced attack.
- Hitting Percentage: Belk also had the best hitting percentage at .750 as she had zero errors on 12 attempts. Zdradzinski also had zero attack errors on eight attacks for a .625 hitting percentage.
- Assists: Zdradzinski paced the squad with 14 assists, and
Lex Poss also reached double figures with 11.
- Service Aces: Zdradzinski posted a career-best eight service aces. Poss served by five aces against the Cyclones.
- Digs: Zdradzinski also had a team-leading 10 digs.
Sara Desmond made nine, and
Madi Curley recorded seven digs.
