IMMACULATA, Pa.- After battling to a scoreless first half against Cabrini (7-7-1, 7-0-0 CSAC) on Wednesday afternoon in a crucial Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC), the Mighty Mac men's soccer team (4-10-1, 2-5-0 CSAC) surrendered a penalty kick goal in the second half and were unable to score the equalizer in a 1-0 loss.

With the loss, the Mighty Macs will need at least four points in their final two games, and potentially two wins to reach their third straight CSAC postseason.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Each team developed some chances in the opening period with Cabrini holding an edge in shots, but the Macs threatened the Cabrini cage a handful of times in a scoreless first half
-In the second half, the Cavaliers took advantage of an Immaculata foul in the box and converted the penalty kick to take a 1-0 lead
-The Macs pressed up looking to tie the game and send it to overtime, but they were unable to do so in a one-goal defeat
