IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata's volleyball team put on a dominant performance Friday night as it swept Cairn, 3-0, for its first Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) win this season. The Mighty Macs cruised to the victory with scores 25-8, 25-7 and 25-10.

Immaculata (4-10, 1-2 CSAC) was led by
Shelby Belk's 12 kills and
Arden Vizzard's 11 kills and seven digs.
Gabrielle Guerrera also posted seven kills and eight digs for the Mighty Macs.
Olivia Zdradzinski registered 32 assists and six digs.
Molly Truitt led the defense with 18 digs.

Immaculata hit .367 as a team for the match, the highest hitting percentage this season. Immaculata had 43 kills on 90 attacks and just 10 hitting errors. It's the best hitting percentage since the Centenary match last season (.429), and the fewest attack errors since last season's Cedar Crest match which the Mighty Macs made just seven errors.

Immaculata came out strong in each set getting out to a lead. The Mighty Macs jumped in front 13-0 in the first set, and had a modest 5-0 and 4-0 advantage in the second and third sets, respectively.

Immaculata plays host to Clarks Summit on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. It will be the Mighty Macs Dig Pink event.
