READING, Pa. – Immaculata men's soccer used two second-half tallies to defeat Penn State Berks, 2-1, on Saturday afternoon in non-conference play, and get the Mighty Macs are off to a 2-0 mark to begin the 2016 season.

The Nittany Lions netted the first goal of the contest in the 52nd minute. However, it didn't take the Mighty Macs long to respond with the equalizer. In the 57th minute,
Kyle Jumalon sent a cross the direction of
Alex Noel, who made a sliding kick to push the ball into the far corner for his third goal of the year.

Noel then returned the favor to Jumalon in the 75th minute as the senior buried the feed into the near corner for his first goal of the season, and the goal proved the game winner.

Penn State Berks had more opportunities than Immaculata with a 16-6 advantage in shots for the game.

Joe Lubonski made seven saves to get credit for the win in net for Immaculata.

Immaculata continues its road swing at Moravian on Sept. 7 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
