DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Immaculata men's soccer earned its first shutout of the season while the offense had an explosion with five goals as the Mighty Macs defeated Delaware Valley, 5-0, Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.

Five different Mighty Macs scored as Immaculata used its balanced attack to defeat the Aggies.

Pat Friend started the scoring for Immaculata with his header in the eighth minute off
Nick Boule's corner kick.
Kyle Jumalon buried a loose ball in the left corner in the 24th minute, and Immaculata added one more goal before halftime as
Alex Noel lofted the ball past Delaware Valley's charging goalkeeper in the 37th minute on a feed from Boule.

The Mighty Macs (3-2-1) weren't finished as Boule helped himself to a goal in the 57th minute, and
Michael D'Orio settled
Mark Staudenmayer's pass and blasted it into the goal in the 69th minute to cap the scoring.

The Mighty Macs led in shots, 30-9, and corner kicks, 10-2.

Immaculata used three goalkeepers in the contest.
Joe Lubonski started and played the first 67 minutes making two saves.
Billy Hegarty played 17 minutes and
John King got in for six minutes, and both did not make a save.
