IMMACULATA, Pa. – Visiting Ursinus College came into Alumnae Hall Tuesday night and got the best of Immaculata University volleyball, 3-1. Following the Mighty Macs 25-19 win in the opening set, the Bears won the next three sets, 25-19, 26-24 and 25-13, to capture the match.

Arden Vizzard posted a double-double with a team-leading 16 kills and 21 digs, and
Olivia Zdradzinski had a double-double with 23 assists and 11 digs.
Tess Kieffer made seven kills and
Nicole Taylor was credited with six kills.
Shelby Belk made five kills, seven digs and two blocks.
Madi Curley handed out 14 assists and had six digs.
Molly Truitt had a team-best 29 digs.

In the first set, the teams were all square at 19 following a kill from Taylor, and Immaculata rattled off next six points to capture the 25-19 win.

The second set was close and tied at 16-16 after Immaculata won five-straight points. Vizzard had two kills,
Rachael Rockefeller had one kill, and Curley had two service aces during the spurt. However, Ursinus won the next four points and closed out the set to even the match at 1-set apiece.

Ursinus started strong in the third set with a 6-1 lead. Immaculata got within one at 6-5, when the Bears went on a run to extend their advantage to 12-5. Ursinus got to set point at 24-17 when Immaculata made a furious comeback that tied the score at 24-24. Following the Bears timeout, the visitors won the next two points.

Ursinus started the fourth set on a 4-0 run, and the Bears led the entire time to win the match.

Immaculata travels to Widener on Thursday at 7 p.m.
