ROSEMONT, Pa. – Immaculata's volleyball team traveled to Rosemont Saturday and came away with a 3-0 blanking of Rosemont, 25-11, 25-14 and 25-5. The Mighty Macs improve to 6-10 overall and 3-2 in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play with the victory.

Arden Vizzard paced the team with 12 kills on 19 attacks and no hitting errors for a .632 hitting percentage for the match.
Gabrielle Guerrera added seven kills and a team-high five digs.
Shelby Belk chipped in three kills, and three other Immaculata players had two kills.
Olivia Zdradzinski registered 24 assists.

Molly Truitt and Vizzard all finished with four digs. Vizzard registered six service aces, and Carter served up five aces as the Mighty Macs had 15 for the match.

Rosemont (0-16, 0-6 CSAC) was leading 9-8 in the first set when a kill from
Tess Kieffer tied the set for the Mighty Macs. Immaculata went on to outscore Rosemont, 12-1, for a commanding 20-10 lead  before winning 25-11. Vizzard racked up seven kills just in the first set.

The second set was close for the first half as Immaculata led just 14-12 at the midway point. The Mighty Macs then used an 8-1 spurt to pull ahead, 22-13, and never looked back.

The Mighty Macs dominated the final set getting out in front, 14-2. Immaculata had six service aces during the first 14 points. Immaculata later had a nine-point run that brought up match-point (24-4), in which four of those points came on Mighty Mac aces.

Immaculata heads to Goucher on Wednesday for a non-conference match beginning at 7 p.m.
