SCRANTON, Pa. – Immaculata volleyball headed to Marywood on Saturday for a tri-match with the host Pacers and Manhattanville, where the Mighty Macs dropped both matches by a 3-0 margin. Marywood defeated Immaculata 25-16, 25-18 and 27-25 in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action, while Manhattanville won the match 25-17, 25-17 and 25-10.

Immaculata is now 8-14 overall and 5-4 in the CSAC. Marywood improved to 13-16, 7-3, and Manhattanville is 14-7.

For the Mighty Macs against the Pacers,
Arden Vizzard led the team in kills with 10 while making 13 digs.
Shelby Belk had nine kills while making six total blocks (1 solo, 5 assisted), and
Gabrielle Guerrera also had nine kills.
Tess Kieffer made five kills and three total blocks.
Olivia Zdradzinski also had a double-double with 27 assists and 12 digs.

Immaculata was close with Marywood during the first set until the Pacers went on a 5-0 run to end the set. The Mighty Macs were ahead 17-16 in the second set when the Pacers won eight-straight points to make it set point. Immaculata did not trail in the third set until Marywood went on a five-point run to turn it from 18-16 in favor of the Macs to 21-18 Pacers. After Marywood got to 24-21, Immaculata was able to tie it at 24-all and again 25-all before the Pacers put back-to-back points together to win the match.

In the second match of the day against Manhattanville, Belk led the squad with six kills, while Vizzard and Guerrera each posted five. Vizzard also posted 17 digs and Guerrera six.
Madi Curley made 18 assists and five digs.
Olivia Carter had 11 digs and two service aces, while Truitt had eight digs.

Immaculata heads to Centenary on Wednesday, Oct. 26, for its final regular-season road match at 7 p.m.
