HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Immaculata's men's soccer team had its five-game winning streak snapped on Saturday when it traveled to Centenary with a 3-2 Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) loss.

Immaculata moves to 10-5-1 overall and 5-2 in the CSAC, falling into a four-way tie in the league standings with 15 points. Centenary improved to 10-4-1, 6-0-1 CSAC and is atop the CSAC with 19 points.

Centenary's first goal was an unfortunate bounce of luck for Immaculata. Goalkeeper
Joe Lubonski made a save on the Cyclones' penalty kick from Justin White but wasn't able to corral the ball. The ball deflected over to Richy Castro who put the ball in the back of the net in the 10th minute.

The Cyclones later scored in the 33r minute of the contest, and held the 2-0 lead on the Mighty Macs at halftime.

Centenary struck again in the 50th minute with its third goal-scorer of the day, and a 3-0 lead.

Immaculata did everything it could to get back in the match, scoring its first goal in the 58th minute as
Nick Boule pocketed
Alex Noel's pass into the back of the Centenary net. Noel later scored in the 79t minute on a penalty kick, making it a one-goal (302) game.

The Mighty Macs where held to three shots during the final 10 minutes, and
Connor Lindsay had a header in the final seconds that was saved by the Centenary goalkeeper.

Lubonski finished the game making eight saves, and Cyclones' keeper Devon Warne also made eight stops. Centenary out-shot Immaculata 21-14 during the contest.
