Box Score 2 GLASSBORO, N.J. – On the first day of the Rowan Invitational, the Immaculata University volleyball team went 1-1 with a win against Bryn Mawr (3-1) and a loss to Marymount (3-0).

The Mighty Macs got off to a slow start in their first match against the Owls dropping the opening set, 25-20. Immaculata edged Bryn Mawr, 26-24, in the second set, dominated in the third (25-6), and won the match with a 25-23 decision in the fourth.

The Mighty Macs hit .636 (14 kills, 0 errors, 22 attempts) in their win in the third set.

Arden Vizzard paced the team with a double-double of 11 kills and 11 digs.
Gabrielle Guerrera and
Morgan Wentz each posted nine kills, and Wentz had four blocks.
Shelby Belk had six kills, three service aces, and three blocks.

Maranda Jones dished out 28 assists, while having two aces, two blocks and five digs.
Madi Curley had 11 assists.
Colleen Martin led the squad with five service aces, and added six digs.
Molly Truitt produced a team-best 22 digs.

The Mighty Macs dropped the nightcap to Marymount for their first loss of the season (25-20, 25-15, 25-19).

Guerrera amassed a team-high seven kills, and Wentz chipped in six kills and two blocks. Jones handed out 14 assists. Curley had a team-high 12 digs to go along with nine assists. Vizzard also was in double figures in digs with 11.

Immaculata (2-1) continues action at the Rowan Invitational tomorrow as it plays host Rowan at 1 p.m. and follows with Kean at 5 p.m.
