CHESTER, Pa.- The Immaculata field hockey team travelled to Widener on Friday evening and fell by a score of 8-0.  The Macs (0-2) will open their home schedule on Wednesday night against Moravian at 7 p.m. at Draper Walsh Stadium.
 
Sophomore Brooke Robinson led the team with two shots.
 
Junior Christine McIntyre got the start in net and made seven saves while surrendering four goals in the first half.  Junior Sarah Pasternak made six saves and surrendered four goals in 26 second half minutes, and junior Emily Beavers finished the game and did not allow a goal in nine minutes of work.
 
Widener scored four goals in the first, and four more in the second to get to the 8-0 final.
