Box Score DALLAS, Pa. – Immaculata University was pressed to the limit in its volleyball season opener, and the Mighty Macs were able to answer with a 3-2 victory against Misericorida in non-conference play. The Mighty Macs won the second set and then edged out the Cougars in the fourth to set up the fifth set.

Immaculata won the match 19-25, 25-23, 21-25, 27-25 and 15-11.

Shelby Belk led the way with 13 kills and four service aces, while
Tess Kieffer recorded eight kills.
Marissa Casella was strong on the block with 10 blocking assists.
Maranda Jones had 20 assists, and
Molly Truitt made 22 digs.

The Mighty Macs will play four matches this weekend at the Rowan Invitational. Immaculata gets underway Friday afternoon, Sept. 4, against Bryn Mawr at 2 p.m. and follow up with Marymount at 8 p.m. on the first day.
