Kyle Jumalon's goal in the seventh minute of the contest would be all Immaculata University men's soccer needed as the Mighty Macs were able to preserve the 3-0 shutout victory at Penn State Berks on Saturday afternoon.

Jumalon scored on a rebound just 6:15 into the game to put Immaculata (1-5-1) in the lead early. It would be the only goal of the first half.

The Mighty Macs then capitalized on a corner kick just 48 seconds into the second half as
Alec Schuler headed
Will Carr's kick into the top of the net.

Immaculata added one more goal in the 84th minute as
Tyler Budgick played a long ball in for Jumalon, who went one-on-one and beat with Penn State Berks' goalkeeper for the score.

Mighty Macs' goalkeeper
Joseph Lubonski was able to preserve the shutout making seven saves in 90 minutes of action to earn the win.

Immaculata held a 21-12 edge in shots against Penn State Berks (0-7-1). The Mighty Macs applied pressure each half with 10 shots in the first half and 11 in the second. Nittany Lions' goalkeeper Stephen Speer had six stops.

The Mighty Macs will look to put together a modest winning streak when it hosts Penn State Brandywine on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 4 p.m.
