Box Score DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – Immaculata University's volleyball squad extended its season-opening win streak to eight matches on Thursday night after defeating Delaware Valley, 3-1, in non-conference action. After dropping the opening set (23-25), the Mighty Macs were able to win the next three sets, 25-22, 25-22 and 25-21.

Jamie Rombach tallied a team high and tied her career high with 20 kills.
Arden Vizzard added 14 kills and 22 digs for a double-double.
Gabrielle Guerrera recorded seven kills and seven total blocks (2 solo, 5 assists),
Stephanie Johler registered six kills, and
Marissa Casella posted four blocks.

Maranda Jones paced the Mighty Macs with 22 assists, and
Brittany Thompson handed out 18 assists.
Molly Truitt led the defense with 23 digs and served up a team-best four aces.
Emily Swank also added double-figure digs with 18.

Delaware Valley (1-9) led throughout the opening set until Immaculata came back and tied the score at 20-all. The Mighty Macs then took the 23-22 edge, but the Aggies won the last three points to take the set.

The Mighty Macs fell behind early (6-1) in the second set, but eventually tied it at 12-12. Immaculata then took a 17-13 lead before Delaware Valley scored the next two points. The Mighty Macs ran off four-straight points en route to the 25-22 win.

Immaculata trailed Delaware Valley, 17-11, before is scored 10 of the last 15 points to claim the 25-22 win and the 2-1 lead in the match.

The Mighty Macs jumped out in front in the fourth set, 10-4, and led 16-9. The Aggies battled back and got within one point, the last time at 21-20. Immaculata was able to hold on winning four of the last five points to claim the match. Â

Immaculata (8-0) travels to Rowan on Saturday for a tri-match with the host Profs and Mount Saint Mary. The first match begins at 11 a.m.
