Volleyball Downs Albright, 3-1, To Stay Undefeated

READING, Pa. – Arden Vizzard had a team-leading 14 kills and Stephanie Johler added 13 as Immaculata University's volleyball team defeated Albright, 3-1, in non-conference road action Thursday night. After winning the first two sets (25-14 and 25-15), the Mighty Macs dropped the third set to the Lions, 25-21, but were able to come back and win the fourth set, 25-17.
 
Immaculata stays undefeated during the 2014 season, improving to 6-0 overall. Albright slips to 3-5 overall.
 
Vizzard registered a double-double adding 15 digs to her 14 kills. Johler also posted four blocks and three service aces along with her 13 kills while posting a .684 hitting percentage for the match. Maranda Jones had a team-leading 22 assists and finished with a double-double making 10 digs. Brittany Thompson recorded 20 assists and four service aces.
 
Molly Truitt paced the Mighty Macs with 19 digs, and Emily Swank made 18 digs.
 
Immaculata looks to keep rolling on Saturday hosting Arcadia at 1 p.m. inside Alumnae Hall.
