Men's Soccer Drop Double OT Game To Cabrini, 1-0

IMMACULATA, Pa. – Cabrini College scored in the 105th minute to break a scoreless game and send the visitors home with a 1-0 men's soccer Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) victory against Immaculata University.
 
The Cavaliers (8-4, 4-0 CSAC) threaten all game taking 34 shots to the Mighty Macs (2-9-1, 0-4 CSAC) four attempts. However, Immaculata was able to keep Cabrini off the scoreboard during regulation and the first overtime period.
 
It wasn't until 4:28 into the second overtime frame did the Cavaliers break through on Ryan New's free kick from midfield that sailed over the heads of the Mighty Mac defenders and past goalkeeper Joseph Lubonski for the difference.
 
Lubonski finished the game making seven saves. Cabrini starting backup goalkeeper CJ Serratore came in and played the last 84 minutes of the contest with two stops.
 
Immaculata heads to Centenary on Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. start against the Cyclones.
