Women's Soccer Drops Season Finale, 3-0

GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa.- The Immaculata women's soccer team dropped their season finale on Wednesday at Gwynedd Mercy, 3-0.  IU wrapped up the regular season with a record of 3-13-1, and a CSAC mark of 3-7-1.
 
Sophomore Paulina Rucci led the Mighty Macs in shots with three as Gwynedd Mercy outshot IU, 14-9.  Sophomore Shelby Clare and freshman Rachel Fanrak each registered two shots apiece.
 
In goal, junior Elizabeth McBride played the first half and made three saves, while freshman Allie Tracey made her debut and got two saves.
 
The Mighty Macs hung tough early as neither team was able to get on the board until the Griffins struck on a header in the 39th minute.  The game would stay 1-0 into the second half.
 
Gwynedd would put the game away with goals in the 59th and 88th minutes.
