ROSEMONT, Pa. – Immaculata University's volleyball team earned its third sweep against a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) opponent this season with its 3-0 victory at Rosemont College on Wednesday night. The Mighty Macs made quick work of the Ravens, 25-11, 25-14 and 25-21.

Jamie Rombach paced the Mighty Macs will eight kills and added four digs.
Gabrielle Guerrera recorded five kills, and
Stephanie Johler finished with four kills, three service aces and seven digs.

Brittany Thompson also served up three aces to go along with four assists and five digs.
Maranda Jones gave out 14 assists and made seven digs.
Molly Truitt made a team-high 14 digs.

Immaculata (13-6, 3-2 CSAC) led the entire first set to the early advantage. The Mighty Macs got behind in the early going of the second set, but had taken control when the score 9-4 in favor of the visitors.

The third set was back-and-forth in the beginning. Rosemont (2-18, 1-6 CSAC) was leading 12-10 when Immaculata won four-straight points to take the 14-12 edge. The Mighty Macs would not give the lead away the rest of the match, however, the Ravens were able to cut the score to 20-19.

Immaculata will be home on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. hosting Gwynedd Mercy University to begin a three-match home stand.
