Box Score SCRANTON, Pa.- The Immaculata volleyball team travelled to Marywood on Saturday afternoon looking to make it three straight Colonial Athletic States Conference (CSAC) victories, but the Pacers (8-6, 5-1 CSAC) won the first two sets and the Mighty Macs (12-6, 2-2 CSAC) were unable to recover as they fell 3-1. The set scores were 25-8, 25-23, 13-25, and 25-22 to close out the match.
Junior
Jamie Rombach led the team with 12 of the team's 28 kills during the match while sophomore
Maranda Jones had the most assists with 16. Freshman
Emily Swank and sophomore
Molly Truitt were active defensively for the Mighty Macs as they tied for the team lead with 20 digs apiece.
Jones and sophomore
Allie Leonard also contributed 13 digs each as the Mighty Macs had 87 total.
Junior
Stephanie Johler led the team with four blocks, one of them solo, and she also had two of the team's three service aces.
Senior
Brittany Thompson chipped in with nine assists.
The Mighty Macs will look to get back in the win column on Wednesday night when they travel to Rosemont for a 7 p.m. start.
