Men's Soccer Drops 2-1 Decision To Moravian

IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University's early lead was erased by two Moravian College goals during the final 23 minutes of the match as the visiting Greyhounds defeated the host Mighty Macs, 2-1, in non-conference men's soccer play. 

Immaculata freshman Kyle Jumalon scored on a break-away in the 17th minute of the game as senior T.J. Jappah fed Jumalon the ball, and he was able to beat Moravian's goalkeeper for the early Mighty Mac lead.
 
The hosts held the 1-0 advantage at halftime, and continued to lead until the 68th minute. At the 67:11 mark of the game, Moravian's Jeffery Algor tied the game at 1-1. Just over 13 minutes later, Algor scored again in what proved to be the game-winner for the Greyhounds (3-1).
 
Immaculata goalkeeper Joseph Lubonski (0-3) recorded five saves in the loss, while Moravian's Brian Boland stopped four shots.
 
Immaculata (0-3) will be on the road for its next two outings beginning at Arcadia on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m.
