Volleyball Drops Both Matches Saturday, 3-0

GLASSBORO, N.J. – Immaculata University's volleyball team dropped both ends of its tri-match Saturday afternoon by 3-0 margins to Rowan University and Washington College.

The Mighty Macs began the day falling to the host Profs by scores of 13-25, 16-25 and 13-25. Immaculata ended the day with a 15-25, 17-25 and 14-25 loss to Washington.
 
In the opener opposite Rowan, junior Andrea Okoro paced Immaculata with seven kills, while senior Allison Lang totaled four kills. Junior Alexandra Okoro and sophomore Brittany Holland each finished with three kills each. Junior Brittany Thompson handed out 11 assists. Freshman Molly Truitt recorded a team-best nine digs.  
 
In the second match of the afternoon against Washington, sophomore Jamie Rombach tallied a team-best 10 kills and added eight digs. Lang was second on the team with four kills. Thompson registered 13 assists, while Maranda Jones had seven assists. Truitt paced the squad with 15 digs.
 
Immaculata now sits a 2-6 overall.
 
The Mighty Macs host the Owls of Bryn Mawr on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.
