Men's Soccer Comes Up Short At DeSales, 3-0

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Immaculata University dropped a 3-0 non-conference men's soccer match to DeSales University on Saturday afternoon.
 
The host Bulldogs scored all three of their goals during a five-minute stretch towards the end of the first half. DeSales scored its first tally in the 33rd minute and capped the scoring with its third goal of the afternoon at the 37:13 mark of the half.
 
Immaculata (0-5) was able to hold DeSales (2-4) off in the second half and limit the Bulldogs to just three shots in the final period.
 
Immaculata's Joseph Lubonski started in goal and played the first half making five saves while giving up the three goals. Chris Raudabaugh came in at halftime and played the final 45 shutout minutes with two saves.
 
The Mighty Macs were held to five shots as Chris Goggin took a team-best two attempts.
 
Immaculata begins a five-game home stand on Tuesday hosting Ursinus at 4 p.m.
