Mighty Macs Drop Regular Season Finale At Alvernia

IMMACULATA, Pa.-
The Immaculata men's tennis team (10-4) lost its regular season finale on the road at Alvernia (9-8) by a score of 5-4.  Senior T.J. Klinger won both his doubles and singles match and was the only player to do so.
 
Alvernia won two of the three doubles with Klinger and senior Joe Walker won in the second doubles spot by a score of 8-4.
 
The Mighty Macs split the singles matches as Klinger won in the fifth spot 9-7.  In the fourth singles spot freshman Nicholas Coia won 6-1, 6-0 and senior Todd Stokley won 6-4, 6-1 in the sixth position.
 
In the third position, senior Eric Schmidt fell in three sets 3-6, 6-1, 1-6.
 
The Mighty Macs will now look to Friday when they play Baptist Bible in the CSAC semifinals, their first appearance in school history.
