Men's Tennis Win Streak Halted By Lebanon Valley

IMMACULATA, Pa.-
The Immaculata men's tennis team (9-2, 5-0 CSAC) saw its eight-game winning streak come to a halt on Wednesday afternoon when they fell to Lebanon Valley (6-9) by a score of 8-1.  Senior Todd Stokley picked up the lone point on the day for the Mighty Macs with a three-set win in the sixth singles position.
 
Stokley won the first set 6-4, lost the second set 6-2, and took the tie break by a count of 10-6.
 
Senior Eric Schmidt lost 10-8 in a third set tie break in the third singles position and freshman Nicholas Coia lost 12-10 in a third set tie break out of the fourth singles position.  Sophomore Troy Donato also went to a third set in the first singles spot, but fell 6-0 in the final set.
 
In doubles, seniors Joe Walker and T.J. Klinger lost 8-6 in the second doubles position and Schmidt and Stokely lost by the same count in the third doubles position.
 
Immaculata will now enter back into CSAC play on Friday afternoon when they host Neumann at 4 p.m.
