LITITZ, Pa.- The Immaculata men's tennis team (4-1, 2-0 CSAC) continued their program-best start to the season with a 6-3 victory over Lancaster Bible (3-2) on Tuesday afternoon, their third in a row. The Mighty Macs won two of the doubles matches and four singles matches to claim the non-conference win.
Sophomore Troy Donato moved to 5-0 in singles play on the season in the number one position with a 6-1, 6-0 victory. He also won his doubles match with Nicholas Coia in the first doubles position by a count of 8-3.
Senior T.J. Klinger was the other two-time winner on the day with a singles victory in the fifth position by a score of 6-1, 6-0 after an 8-2 doubles victory in the second position with Joe Walker.
Other winners were Todd Stokley by a count of 6-3, 6-2 in the sixth singles position and Eric Schmidt in a tough 6-0, 4-6, 7-6 (7-5) tie break victory in the third spot.
Immaculata will now have off for the Easter holiday and will look for their fourth straight victory next Thursday, April 4th at Albright at 3:30 p.m.
