CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa.- The Immaculata men's tennis team (3-1, 2-0 CSAC) continued the great start to their conference season with a second consecutive CSAC victory over Keystone (0-1, 0-1 CSAC) by a score of 7-2. The Mighty Macs are off to their best start in school history.
Seniors
T.J. Klinger,
Todd Stokley and
Eric Schmidt won both their singles and doubles matches in the conference matchup.
In doubles, Klinger and senior
Joe Walker won 8-3 in the second doubles position while Schmidt and Stokley swept the third doubles position 8-0.
In singles play, sophomore
Troy Donato won his fourth straight singles match to start the season in the number one position 7-5, 6-2. Freshman Nicholas Coia won in commanding fashion out of the fourth singles position by a score of 8-0.
Schmidt won 6-0, 6-0 in the third singles position, Klinger won 6-0, 6-0 in the fifth singles position, and Stokley won 6-1, 6-0 in the sixth singles position to cap a dominating performance by the Mighty Mac men's tennis team.
Immaculata will look to make it three consecutive wins as they play at Lancaster Bible on Tuesday.
