GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – Immaculata University's men's soccer team concluded the 2013 season on Tuesday evening at Gwynedd Mercy University suffering a 3-0 loss against the host Griffins in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) contest.

Gwynedd Mercy's Kevin Sotell had a hat trick to account for all of the Griffins' scoring. Sotell's first tally came in the 37th minute, and he added a second goal in the 42nd minute to give Gwynedd Mercy a 2-0 halftime lead. Sotell completed the hat trick in the 71st minute on an unassisted goal.

Immaculata was able to hold a 14-13 advantage in shots, and the Mighty Macs took a 7-2 edge in corner kicks against the Griffins.

Patrick Friend took three shots to lead Immaculata, and
T.J. Jappah,
Stephen Smith and
Ryan Stokes all got off two shots for the Mighty Macs.

William Hegarty started his second game in goal this season for the Mighty Macs making four saves and allowing two goals in 61 minutes.
Chris Raudabaugh played the final 29 minutes for Immaculata and let in one goal during his final appearance in a Mighty Macs uniform.

Immaculata ends the season with a 2-15 overall and 1-8 CSAC record. Gwynedd Mercy improved to 6-12-1, 2-6 CSAC.
