Men's Soccer Falls At Cabrini, 3-0

RADNOR, Pa. – Immaculata University's men's soccer team traveled to Cabrini College on Wednesday afternoon where it was defeated 3-0 by the host Cavaliers in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) game.
 
Cabrini scored its first goal in the 27th minute as C.J. Doherty scored. That would be the only scoring during the first half as the Cavaliers led 1-0 at intermission.
 
Bobby Kane scored in the 63rd minute and A.J. Bishop added another Cabrini goal in the 83rd minute to seal the victory for the Cavaliers (9-6-2, 6-1 CSAC).
 
Immaculata goalkeeper Joseph Lubonski started the game and played the first 69 minutes allowing two Cabrini goals and recording five saves. William Hegarty came on for the final 21 minutes of the game and did not register a stop while allowing the final tally by the Cavaliers.
 
Cabrini outshot Immaculata (16-8), and the Cavaliers led in corner kicks, 8-2. The Mighty Macs mustered seven shots during the second half as they attempted to net the equalizer.
 
Immaculata (2-14, 1-7 CSAC) wraps up the 2013 season on Oct. 29 when it travels to Gwynedd Mercy at 6 p.m.
