IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University's volleyball squad picked up its first Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) win this season on Wednesday night as it swept visiting Rosemont College, 3-0. The Mighty Macs took the match by set scores of 25-12, 25-21 and 25-10.

Immaculata (5-10, 1-2 CSAC) was led by nine kills from
Rebecca McDonald, who also added 11 digs and two blocks.
Allison Lang finished with five kills, and
Stephanie Johler and
Marissa Casella each recorded four kills.
Brittany Thompson amassed 23 assists, a team-leading six service aces and eight digs.
Molly Truitt made a team-best 21 digs during the match.

The Mighty Macs cruised to wins in the first and third sets as they jumped out in front 5-0 during each game. Immaculata never looked back after taking the early lead.

The second set was close until Immaculata scored five of the final seven points to claim the set, 25-20. Rosemont led once during the early going, 4-3, and trailed by just one point (21-20) before Immaculata made its run at the end.

Rosemont (0-13, 0-5 CSAC) was paced by a double-double performance from Eve Romanowski with 14 kills and 16 digs.
