Box Score ROSEMONT, Pa. – Immaculata University's men's soccer team captured its first Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) victory on Tuesday afternoon as the Mighty Macs upended host Rosemont College, 2-1.

The Mighty Macs scored two first-half goals in a span of nine minutes and were able to limit the Ravens to just one goal during the second half for the win.

Stephen Smith started the scoring for the Mighty Macs in the 34th minute as he put the ball in the back of the net after receiving a header pass from
T.J. Jappah.
Alec Schuler added Immaculata's second tally marker just before halftime in the 43rd minute as his long strike went into the back of the net.

Rosemont got on the scoreboard in the 67th minute as Yohana Ghede scored off a pass from Bob Vetrano. That would be all the scoring for the Ravens as the Mighty Macs' defense was able to thwart any opportunities they mustered during the final minutes.

Immaculata goalkeeper
Joseph Lubonski made five saves and picked up his first win in goal this season. Rosemont's Max McDonald recorded three saves, including two punch saves.

Rosemont held just a 15-13 advantage in shots, while Immaculata edged the Ravens, 4-3, in corner kicks.

Immaculata now sits at 2-12 overall and 1-5 in the CSAC. Rosemont falls to 2-11, 1-4 in the league.

Immaculata travels to Neumann at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
