Baptist Bible Tops Immaculata Volleyball 3-2

Box Score CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – Immaculata University's volleyball team rallied from the early 2-0 deficit to force a deciding fifth set, but Baptist Bible College was able to rally back and win the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match, 3-2.
 
The Defenders (13-13, 6-1 CSAC) won the match by scores of 25-21, 25-17, 19-25, 22-25 and 15-11). The Mighty Macs slip to 6-13 overall and 2-5 in the league.
 
Immaculata was led by 11 kills, 17 digs and four service aces from Jamie Rombach. Andrea Okoro had nine kills and two blocks. Alexandra Okoro and Rebecca McDonald each totaled eight kills, and McDonald added 10 digs and three service aces. Allison Lang finished with a team-best five total blocks, one solo and four assisted.
 
Brittany Thompson and Maranda Jones each recorded double-double's as Thompson had 21 assists and 13 digs, while Jones registered 18 assists and 14 digs. Molly Truitt led six Immaculata players in double figures in digs with 25.
 
Immaculata hosts Marywood on Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.
