Men's Soccer Falls In Double Overtime, 3-2

Box Score

IMMACULATA, Pa. – Keystone College scored the game-winning goal two minutes into the second overtime as the visiting Giants defeated Immaculata University, 3-2, on Senior Day at Draper Walsh Stadium.

The two squads played a scoreless first half, and the score was still 0-0 after 61 minutes of action. Keystone got on the scoreboard first as Julio Pertuz found the back of the net in the 62nd minute. Just 42 seconds after the Giants' goal, Immaculata's Tyler Budgick converted on a penalty kick to tie the match at 1-1.

The Giants then took the lead again in the 74th minute when Adam Kashuba pushed one past Immaculata's goalkeeper. However, Immaculata was able to answer four minutes later when Patrick Friend headed in Ryan Stokes' corner kick for the equalizer.

After a deadlocked first overtime period, Keystone wasted little time to put in the game-winning score as Pertuz scored his second goal of the afternoon just 1:56 into the frame.

Immaculata goalkeeper Chris Raudabaugh, playing his final home game as a Mighty Mac, made six saves. Keystone goalie Dany O'Rourke stopped eight Immaculata shots in the win.

Keystone edged Immaculata 17-15 in shots while the Mighty Macs led 8-6 in corner kicks. Stokes had a team-leading three shots, while a trio of Mighty Macs, Budgick, T.J. Jappah and Alec Schuler, all attempted two shots.

Immaculata will play at Rosemont on Oct. 15 at 4 p.m.
