READING, Pa. - Immaculata University's men's soccer team managed to shut down Albright in the second half but it was not enough as the host Lions defeated the Mighty Macs, 3-0, in non-conference action on Wednesday night.
Albright scored three times during the first half, the first goal coming in the seventh minute. The Lions again tallied in the 19th minute and just before the two squads went into halftime.
Immaculata starting goalkeeper
Nick Bruno played the first half making four saves, and
Chris Raudabaugh played the finally 45 minutes not recording a stop. Albright goalkeeper David Oram picked up the win facing three shots.
Kyle Craig led the Mighty Macs with two shots, and
T.J. Jappah had the Mighty Macs' other shot.
Immaculata plays in front of the home crowd for the first time this season on Saturday hosting Washington College (Md.) at 3 p.m.
