IMMACULATA, Pa. – Marywood University spoiled the Colonial States Athletic Conference opener for Immaculata University's men's soccer team on Wednesday afternoon, 2-0, at Draper Walsh Stadium.
 
The Pacers scored in the 18th minute as Daniel Lopez scored unassisted, and Marywood led 1-0 at halftime. Marywood scored again in the 53rd minute as Kris Kassel tallied a goal on a feed from Christian Lawlor.
 
Marywood held a 19-4 lead over Immaculata in shots. Kyle Craig and T.J. Jappah each recorded two shots apiece.
 
Immaculata goalkeeper Chris Raudabaugh made two saves. Marywood goalie Shane Quinn recorded just one stop in the shutout.
 
Immaculata continues CSAC play on Saturday, Sept. 29, traveling to Baptist Bible at 1 p.m.
