Men's Tennis Wins Third Straight

IMMACULATA, Pa.
- Immaculata University's men's tennis team won its third straight match on Monday, defeating Keystone College, 5-4, in Colonial States Athletic Conference play.

The Mighty Macs (3-8, 2-3 CSAC) won four points during singles play and picked up the deciding point with a victory at first doubles.

Immaculata, which began the match with singles play, won at the second, fourth, fifth and sixth spots. Eric Schmidt defeated Sean Hanahue, 6-3, 6-2, at No. 2 singles, for his fifth-straight singles win. Joe Walker was a 6-3, 6-1 winner at No. 4 singles against Dan Anderson, and Todd Stokley downed Justine Ventura, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 5 singles. William DeSantis won the Mighty Macs' other singles point at No. 6 with his 6-1, 6-0 win opposite Kyle Betacchini.

Immaculata's top doubles pair of Demetrios Vlahos and T.J. Klinger clinched the team win as they defeated Samual Dahmer and Mark Musumeci, 8-5.

Immaculata plays a non-conference with Arcadia on Wednesday, April 11, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
